First Remote Hexagon Project Recognition Event A Success!

In spite of school closings and shut-downs, nearly 500 hexagons were created this year and, on Saturday, September 12, we successfully hosted students, teachers and supporters on Zoom to celebrate the inspiring accomplishments of our young people across the globe! Our deepest gratitude to the teachers who made this possible! We are excited to share this one-hour event, which presents all 60 of the recognized hexagons from Australia, Africa, Japan, Nepal and across the United states. You can access the recorded event at https://us02web.zoom.us/rec/share/uh-S3DLcZMu-UtVA_o4LVAy5JFcX46lxv8JUnEhgJ-Vkpdh5XqlshQx_Sdjpnghm.2ntqC2fkSKqthBTj Passcode: sc8S8$x%

The program also includes the “Declaration of Interdependence” illustrated by additional hexagons, the presentation of the 2020 Outstanding Partnership Award to art educator Denis Yanashot, a unique performance from Uganda, and closing remarks by Marianne Milks. In addition, the event announced the 2021 Special Themes.

We extend special thanks to our 202 Sponsors:  BLICK Art Materials, Cummings Insurance and Davis Publications.  We wish to thank all of our donors and our board members who have given of their time, finances and expertise during this unprecedented time.
