Removing Mine Spoil

Mine spoil, the left-over rocks removed from the mines but not used for fuel, contributes mine materials to runoff and also result in air pollution. These large piles of rock have been in the region for a long time. Recently, efforts are being made to remove the piles as illustrated here.
